Recent Projects

Please see below some of the projects which were successfully deployed

• Exchange server 2010 enterprise, Microsoft Forefront gateway server and Windows 2008 R2 running on Microsoft HYPER V technology.

  Three virtual machines running Domain controller on one VM, CA and HUB exchange 2010 roles on second VM and MB server role on the third VM.

  The setup is configured for Outlook anywhere, Active sync and OWA. Remote, local and mobile users can easily access and book appointments at any time as required.

• Windows 2003 transition to Windows 2008 server.

  IT setup was running windows server 2003 with 15 client computers running windows XP. There was need to update the server and the server operating system due to the hardware life cycle. Solution implemented was to buy new hardware and transition windows 2003 server to windows 2008 server and decommission older servers and use them as file server.

• Windows Server 2003 SBS with Exchange 2003 SP2
  

  Current IT setup is running one Windows server 2003 SBS and 6 client computers running windows XP and windows seven. Accounting package is installed in client server configuration with all client PC sharing the database file.

  Daily and weekly monitoring of data files, SQL and exchange backups. Successfully setup exchange emails on mobile phone (HTTP over proxy).

• Simple network of computers in workgroup with file and printer sharing.

  Four computers in workgroup sharing files on main computer along with printer sharing. Main computer is also setup for remote access via RDP protocol. This allows client to access the main computer and emails remotely.

• Four pages basic website - Queensland Training Logistics

  A basic website was required to allow online users to get the information on courses offered by the QTL. The website is hosted on IT Place Hosting servers and has three pages and a contact page which features a form where users can fill in their contact details and query. An email is send with user's contact details and the query. For more details go to http://www.qtl.net.au

• Computer network with Windows Small Business 2008 server and 6 client machines

  This small business computer network has mixed client machines with windows 7 and windows XP. The network is running Microsoft exchange 2007 server for business email requirement. All users require and share accounting software for which the database is sitting on secure shared location. Exchange server backups and file backups run every night and saved on to the external network storage. Clients can also access their emails through web and they can also access their computers remotely when on road.

• CMS website and shopping cart
